    Trailer for Xenon IV?

    Greetings!

I'm in the consideration stage for an enclosed trailer to house/transport a Xenon IV. Before I get too deep into my research, I want to ask others about the features that I should consider. I'm aware of basics like length, width, height, weight, but are there are things/features that would be important to managing a gyro in a trailer? For example, I've seen photos of gyros and trailers, and it seems that the owners must have some type of a system for removing/attaching the rotors (safely), such as a tripod and winch, as well as some consideration for a way to safely handle the rotors.

I was talking the other day about my desire to fly around Utah and Arizona, but the flight from Wisconsin would be several days and, certainly, weather dependent, so the thought of a trailer came up...

If someone reading this has some experience that they'd like to share with me an others, I'd love to hear it!!!

    Thank you in advance,

    Tim!

    Hi Tim
Trailers are also very inexpensive hangers.
It a good idea to have a couple small covered fans that are solar powered to help keep it cooler in the summers.

Also the best setup I've seen let you store the blades on one side of the roof without you having to disassemble them.

I was trying to describe it but here is a video that is worth a million words.
Attaching the blades is so easy with this trailer. Not hoist needed only a pole and latter.

    PS:
Kent Gottard has one only it is only hinged in the middle of the roof and only opens 1/2 the back and the hinged part is only the width of the square bump up on the roof. The front of the trailer from the square bump up is not hinged and does not open. I will try and find a picture of his too.
