RMD Fund Raising Campaign 

Dear Friend Of The Popular Rotorcraft Association (PRA):

Are you over the age of 73 with a traditional IRA? If so, you’re required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) each year. Since these funds are pre-taxed, they are subject to an income tax upon distribution.

However, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to The Popular Rotorcraft Association directly from your IRA, which allows you to meet your RMD while avoiding income tax on the gift. Best of all, your contribution helps the fund-raising goals for the PRA’s Mentone, Indiana airport (C92), and it won’t be included in your taxable income.

To take advantage of this, the transfer must be made directly to The PRA by December 31st. Be sure to fill out the appropriate form and consult your tax advisor or bank to ensure this option is right for you.
